Dolly Wink |* Review *|

It seems that almost every blogger will do a post of Dolly Wink. I'll tell you why, IT'S THE MOST AWESOME BRAND OF FAKE EYELASHES!! No one ever doubt it. It was founded by Tsubasa Masukawa (she is currently a mum now but she still looks very very young~)

I was introduce to Dolly wink since i start cosplay, which was last year. Most of my friends told me that DW is the best eyelashes. I was curious on how good it was so i went and have a look in SASA. OMG!! It is damn expensive, 2pair for RM 55.90. I'm still a student and so i couldn't afford it. After that I saw that it was on Discount,so i quickly grab two box Eyelashes 01 & 02. I uses china brand fake lashes all the while, I always feel it's weight and my eyes get tired easily. When I tried on DW, it was weightless & I gotta keep checking the mirror to see if it's still there... I really feel nothing on my eyelid~ LOVE IT SOOO MUCH~

That day,Dolly wink was having a give away to all fans. I was lucky to win a Liquid Eyeliner. It is also one of DW popular product.

the line is very fine(good for drawing the cat eye), also the line is very black

Next product I'm gonna introduce is the new Eyeshadow 02.. I got it when it had promotion together with the Eyelashes no.1 as you can see from the picture below.This voucher came together with the eyeliner I won

I personally never used eyeshadow cause i think that it is very hard to use, but i give it a try to DW eyeshadow.

Well, put on fake lashes,add on blusher and than makeup is done. Put on a wig/style your hair, doll yourself up and camwhore like Tsubasa~~ remember to apply nude lipstick or baby pink lipstick to get the gyaru style like Tsubasa.

well, I changed my Eyeshadow to red & blue without changing my false lashes. Tada, Cosplay also can use the same lashes

STYLO

Yes, I'm currently at the event name STYLO. it is a fashion competition thru out the whole Malaysia,sponsored by Mercedes Benz. it is held in a new hotel, Aloft Kl Sentral.

Well, im here with 2 of my friends (one went back already so now only left 1 friend), we are here as backstage helper, or we call it Ah 4 ( ah sei).

Congrats to two of my senior Andrew & Corlin for getting in the finals. Sorry i couldn't help you guys during the event cause we are asked to help other designers.

I also met my friend from TARC, Lisa chow(aka Arisa), this is actually our 2nd time meeting up since the last event at Pavilion for the Cosplay Runway. Her designs was cool~ I love blue, really~~ stalk her blog ya www.arisachow.com.  is fun reading her blog everytime xD (if you are reading this, yes, I stalk your blog)

I'm gonna be here until midnite... so sad.. but if any interesting things i will blkg again. Ciao~

Regrets

Everyone will have at least 1 regrets in their life.....ok or maybe more than 1.

I've been thinking, did i made my choice wrong? I've been curious to my question for a very long time. Sometimes I would say this to myself(especially during assesment week) :" OMG! Why did I choose design course?! Why did I choose fashion design?! All the homework load are insane!! Regret much~". Now and then I keep wonder "Why?", but when I see my classmates, we are all doing the same amount of work and they did not complain (well they all did complain after all). Life isn't easy, not every thing can be easy in our life, we gotta face it. So most of the time I will just keep my mouth shut, unless I'm super pissed off and stress out, everyone is gonna hear me saying "LIFE SUCKS".

Well not only that, sometimes i also do think that i made a wrong decision of cosplaying, sometimes I do question myself why did I even start cosplaying. It really gets on my nerves when everyone relates everything of mine to cosplay. I HATE IT PEOPLE!!

I said I wanna get materials to sew a garment, 1st thing asked :" For cosplay ah?".
I said I'm joining a competition, 1st thing asked :" For cosplay ah?".
I said I'm going an event, 1st thing asked :" For cosplay ah?"
I show them my own design, 1st thing said :"Cosplay ah?"

SEE THE FLOW PEOPLE?! Everything I do confirm will be related to Cosplay. Really People??!!!! I'm Very Very Pissed when everything I do relates to cosplay for no reason, Especially MY OWN DESIGN.

Well, sorry for spoiling your eyes seeing this post, but i really regret what ever I do.

My 1st design collection

Ever wonder how do designers get their inspiration? How they design a collection? Well, the whole process isn't easy. This semester ( or maybe count it as last semester) we had this subject <Fashion Shoes & Accessories>. For this subject, we learn how to draw shoes & bags, we went on a field trip to visit factory on how to make them and we had to draw a collection for our final project.

During the 1st day of class, lecturer gave us a bunch of homework to research types of shoes,bags & component of bags. At the beginning, I was like "OMG!! so many thing to research!!! DIE LA!!", but when i was sketching for my idea, i realise that those research was very useful and i starting to understand why did he made us do all those research (yes,I burn the midnight oil for that homework).

 We started our final project during end of January starting by the title given by our lecturer "Gamble&games". We were asked to used that title to draw a mind map & create our own theme. My theme was <A Split Personality> with the idea of Rose & Piano. Why rose & piano relates to split personality? Well, Rose is a very romantic flower & Piano is a romantic instrument, both of them seems very timid & soft, but rose & piano can be strong to. I relate those point back to a person, we may look weak but deep inside, we do have our strong personality. This was my concept.

After our theme was set, we did research base on the idea we used (research again ...), then we began doodling around the paper for our initial idea. We were told to just draw random stuff, and go as crazy as we can for initial idea. Later we choose few of the initial idea, combine them,and start with idea development which is to design a shoe/bag ( a proper & wearable one).

Obviously our idea development is not only one simple design, we keep design & change some part, alter some part, finally only we choose our most confidence one for our final. Then is the colour time. I decided to use Red & Black as main colour because it relates back to my theme.

Tired

Really didn't want to post anything cause I'm tired and busy with my homework, but i promised my friend to blog at least once a week so i still gad to blog.

Well finals is around the corner. For a design student, our final project isn't as easy as other course. Our final project are all hands work and gotta present it on our assessment day as if we are going for interview. No group work like other course and hardly computer work. But i really enjoyed studying my course.

Chinese New Year

Well, Chinese New Year is still on going until the 15th day of the lunar calender ( Chap Goh Meh). Like usual, on the before New Year,me & my family will travel back to Teluk Intan, Perak for our reunion dinner with the other family members.1 thing different with my family and the others is we do not have pictures with our family members. I saw most of my friends posting pictures with their cousins, i was so jealous of them because me & my sister are not close with the other family members,even so, we barely talk.

Lazy to crap more so I shall fast forward to the days I'm in Penang. My mum's side family is at Penang, so we went to Penang after our stay in Perak. We went over to Penang Island on the 2nd day to visit one of my uncle that is emitted in the hospital due to an accident.

After the visit we ask my cousin brother to bring us to the famous Penang Street art. Finally the main point is here after crapping alot on the top~ So me and my family went to Ah Quee road to see those arts. It was very creativebut also very disappointing. Because the weather is so hot,most of the painting is detroyed, the colours faded alot.

Like the art said:" Our Art is dying" please protect them~

Blog bet

Realize how not active am I in blogging even though i promise myself  to blog once I'm free.
Is not that I got nothing to blog but I'm just lazy.
Yesterday i made a deal with my fren, we must at least post a blog once a week and see can last the longest.
Who ever gives up posting a blog each week will hav to pay a meal for the other one.
