Elyon

I bet you have read the title and wonder why did I wrote that. Yes, I'm gonna blog about the origin of my name. Wonder how I actually got this "hard to pronounce name", then continue reading~ =)

When I was young, I always wanted an English name (because is just so cool to have one) So I started naming myself with diffent names... not to many, but few la~ Sonia(from Sonic cause i was so addicted with it), Selina( from SHE the girl group~ ) . It was all in the "S" series until I got this name that starts with an "E" , and now it became my symbol,or "EL" in another way.

Some girls may know this cartoon/comic, it is my childhood favourite <W.I.T.C.H.>. YES is This show! In this show, there's a character name Elyon Brown. She isn't the main protagonist but she was one of the main character for the 1st case. Elyon is the Queen of the forbidden city called Meridian and was called "Light of Meridian". After that I gave my self a catch phrase "Light of Eternity" cause I do not own the "Le Meridian Hotel" LOL~

That is pretty much how I got my current name.

I remember once my lecturer ask me how I got my name, I asked why? He told me Elyon is aname of a God. WOW, God name,pretty cool~ I search up different net including wikipedia and yes, It is a name of a God. It means Highly God. This name is used only 8% around the world and majority ofthe is boys mean 7% is boys 1% is girl...(o.O im the 1%??!!)

Some of you may know mostly of my user name is babyelyon, like my email also. Not that I mean I'm cute like a baby or what, this actually came from a picture where Elyon Brown was in her baby form and so after i saw the picture, most of my user name was changed to babyelyon~

I Love my name alot! Cause it is some how related to my real name. "EL" a shortform of Elyon is Pronounce as "L" which is the Initial of my name "Lim" also if i swap both letters is "LE" 乐 which is the last nameof my chinise name which means Happy 快乐. 

For those who doesn't know how to pronounce my name PLEASE DON'T START GIVING ME WEIRD N FUNNY NICKNAME! You can either call me "El" or "Ellie" or"Le". If wanna know how to pronounce my name, can ask me directly(which most of them giveup and start calling me "El"). My name is "El" "Yon" =D
